From our first store in the 1960s, a little Taunton shop with great clothes and even better prices, to an omni-channel business serving millions of customers... we're New Look.

Our purpose is always to inspire That New Look Feeling and we believe that starts with us. Our values motivate us every day: we play to win, we're customer-obsessed and we work as one.

It's a busy and exciting time for the brand and we're on the hunt for a Cloud Manager to join our growing IT team.

The Team

Our IT team don't accept the status quo, we think disruptively about Technology and how we can use it. We collaborate with the business to deliver that technology which supports our business ambition to be the leading omnichannel retailer. We strive to do the right thing, always, focusing on safe, secure and reliable operations, while seeking out quality technology for our customers and colleagues to support and drive our business goals. By focusing on the value, we're creating and ensuring our delivery choices suit the product and project ambitions, we challenge ourselves and thrive.

The Role:

The Cloud Manager plays a pivotal role in our organisation by taking charge of our Azure cloud infrastructure. This role is dedicated to harnessing the power of Azure services to support our business objectives, streamline operations, and provide a scalable and secure foundation for our digital initiatives. By leading a talented team and leveraging Azure's capabilities, the Azure Cloud Manager contributes to our company's technological advancement, innovation, and long-term success.

Automation and Orchestration: Implement automation and orchestration solutions using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and other tools to streamline cloud resource management. Monitoring and Alerting: Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, setting performance baselines and responding promptly to incidents. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain up-to-date documentation for Azure configurations and procedures, and provide training to enhance team members' Azure skills. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Azure service providers and vendors to ensure optimal support and value from cloud service subscriptions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Azure trends and best practices, seeking opportunities to enhance the efficiency, security, and performance of the Azure environment. Resource Management: Lead and manage a team of onshore and offshore cloud engineers, overseeing daily activities, setting performance expectations, and ensuring alignment with the Azure strategy. Global Team Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration between onshore and offshore teams to optimise resource utilisation, maintain 24/7 support, and leverage diverse skill sets. About You:

Minimum Azure 2 Star Qualification (preferably AZ104). At least 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud Management. Proficient in problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and end-users. Capable of working independently or as part of a team. Values & Behaviours:

Play to Win: Own and resolve operational IT issues while keeping stakeholders updated on key updates using Service Now to provide communication to users. It starts with me: Take the initiative to ensure that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve incidents and problems for supported applications.
