Fantastic opportunity to join an established specialist contractor and lead their buying team, working closely with the directors.

Brief overview:

  • To lead a team of buyers, including training & development of the team
  • To take on responsibility and be accountable for the procurement process of subcontractors, materials, plant, services and labour
  • Establish and monitor procurement trends across the business
  • To produce management information and reports in line with the company purchasing strategy
  • Develop professional, robust and effective working relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors and service providers
  • Effectively manage and develop the approved supplier list
  • Set up and manage regular review meetings with key stakeholders
  • Aim to provide "best value" to all projects

About you:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree, CIPS
  • Solid experience working in the constrution industry
  • First class leadership skills
