The role of Assistant Chef, primarily based at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading, Crescent Road, is a busy post which will require the successful candidate to have experience of working in a kitchen, delivering outstanding service and quality food to a high volume of customers.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

Preparation of food.Help develop the service which includes menu planning and supplies ordering.Overseeing service.Mentor catering staff. In this role we ask that you:Possess a passion for food.Focus on the front line.Have a genuine interest in customer service excellence.Are a team player.Have previous experience of working in a kitchen.
