We're seeking a diligent individual to provide comprehensive support to the Group's Intellectual Property (IP) team, specifically focusing on patents. This role entails managing Imperial's use of its Anaqua IP Asset Management Software for patent matters and assisting the team with patent workflows and associated documents and processes. As an Intellectual Property Paralegal, you'll join an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.
Key accountabilities
· Managing the use of Imperial's Anaqua IP Asset Management Software for patent matters
· Handling patent lifecycle formalities processes
· Supporting team members with tasks such as obtaining accurate information from internal clients to facilitate the instruction or progress of patent applications (e.g., confirming employment/contractor status of inventors, etc.)
· Assisting with budget management
· Providing patent information to stakeholders upon their request
Skills & experience
· Experience in patent filing, prosecution, oppositions, and FTO exercises
· Qualified UK Chartered and/or European patent attorney
· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
· Strong commercial acumen
· High levels of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail · Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment
