We will rely on you to:

  • Provide support to broking teams through the preparation and analysis of Lloyd's of London and Global client data
  • Analyse exposure data, historical data and model outputs to evaluate the potential impact on the reinsurance portfolio
  • Set up stochastic models using our enterprise risk management platform for the evaluation of clients reinsurance programmes
  • Work alongside the wider Non-Marine Specialty team to capture client information and reinsurance placement statistics
  • Identify and resolve problems, think creatively, strategically and analytically
  • Have an analytical mind set with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Communicate results to diverse audiences through various methods
  • Conduct client peer review analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop, validate, and enhance catastrophe models tailored to specific client needs and risk profiles
  • Stay abreast of developments in catastrophe modelling methodologies, software tools, and industry trends to ensure that our modelling capabilities remain cutting-edge and aligned with client needs

What you need to have:

  • 2-5 years' experience in analytics within insurance and/or reinsurance industry
  • Experience using vendor models such as but not limited to, RMS, Verisk or CoreLogic,
  • Experience working with data sets
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
