Taylor Root have partnered with a leading city law firm in their search for an experienced Paralegal to join their Banking & Finance team in London. The firm will be offering this position on a permanent basis.

The firm

Our client is a London based, city law firm that specialises in providing advice to businesses and individuals on domestic and international matters. It has a significant business and banking law offering with stellar reputations in the market and is also one of the only London based firms with a large private wealth offering.

The Team

The firms Banking & Finance team represent lenders and borrowers, large financial institutions, banks and non banks on transactional banking work including banking & lending, structured finance, real estate finance, FS reg, asset based finance and funds finance. They are ranked in the Legal 500 for their work in London.

The Role

You will assist fee earners with transactions from inception to completion and through post completion. You will be managing your own case load of transactions and undertake due diligence on financing transactions. Also, you will assist with managing conditions precedent, preparation of loan and security documentation and preparation of standard form finance documents.

The Ideal Candidate

The firm are looking to hire an experienced Paralegal who has prior transactional banking/finance involvement. This can be from any area of finance but it will ideally have been gained with another leading city law firm or strong regional/international firm.
