Academics Ltd are looking for a Learning Support Assistant, LSA, to work at a Primary school based in the borough of Brent. The role will involve supporting the learning and development of students with diverse needs. Working closely with the class teacher, you will provide assistance to enable all students to reach their full potential. This role requires empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities of a LSA:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.

Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, noting strengths and areas for improvement.

Support teachers in delivering lessons, adapting materials, and managing classroom behavior.

Prepare and organise instructional materials, equipment, and resources needed for lessons and activities.

Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Promote Inclusion and ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times, adhering to school policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs preferred.
