What will you be doing?

The Business Support Officer (Development Liaison) sits within the Development Liaison team of the Council's Highways and Waste services which brings together the Council's highways advice, highways adoptions and highways agreements services supported by our partners in Kier Highways. This small but highly effective and dedicated team needs additional support to continue to provide the high-quality services vital to facilitate development and growth in our area. The post holder will support our highways adoptions and highways agreements services as well as other highways teams in providing technical, administrative, and financial processing support. The role also involves administering the systems necessary to ensure the Council is paid for delivering services for developers and balances the team's finances by reporting on income and expenditure using the Council's in-house systems.

Are you our new Business Support Officer (Development Liaison) - supporting our teams and processing the financial transactions vital to the services we run?

You will have a high standard of education preferably at Degree level with a keenness to learn new skills, technical, legal and financial processes and systems that underpin modern development engineering.
