What you need to know about the role...

The Data Protection Executive will be supporting the development and enforcement of data protection policies, providing assistance with compliance efforts, handling data subject requests, and contributing to incident response and risk mitigation activities.

The Data Protection Executive plays a vital role in helping the organization maintain trust with stakeholders and protect the privacy rights of individuals.


About You:
As a

Data Protection Executive

you will be:

  • Managing information rights requests for members.
  • Managing requests for CCTV, including those from third parties such as law enforcement.
  • Gathering information and ensuring timely responses in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines, under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Helping to maintain records of data processing activities, compliance efforts, and data protection incidents, and assisting with report preparation.

  • Proven experience in data protection, ideally with a focus on GDPR compliance.
  • Strong understanding of data protection principles and legislation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with data protection tools and technologies (e.g., data masking, encryption, tokenization).
