This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a multidisciplinary research team, as part of a friendly, supportive working environment in Keele University's School of Medicine. The post holder will work on a major programme of research on musculoskeletal pain in children and young people ─ the NIHR-funded CAM-Pain (Child and Adolescent Musculoskeletal Pain) programme. The programme aims to improve the understanding, self-management, impact and healthcare of musculoskeletal pain in children and adolescents from individual, family, clinician and policymaker perspectives. The post holder will support the research programme alongside the Chief Investigator. They will take an active role in research activities throughout the programme, and support team meetings, liaise with the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Group, prepare / contribute to reports, applications and publications, and help to plan, conduct and analyse meetings with children, young people, parents, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.

The post holder will have a Masters degree in a relevant health-related discipline, or equivalent relevant research experience. They will have knowledge and experience of designing and conducting health research projects. They will have experience of working and communicating effectively with people from a broad range of backgrounds, and will have a strong commitment to inter-disciplinary working.
