Our client, based in Leicestershire , is looking for a passionate and determined junior i-joist designer who is looking to develop their career.
As an Junior I-joist Designer you will:
- Develop detailed design layouts and specifications for I-joist systems using software and design tools.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to integrate I-joist systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Identify and implement design improvements that reduce material costs, enhance structural performance, and streamline installation processes.
- Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
What We are Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience in floor design and/or cassettes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as: Steico iStruct, TJ-Xpert, iPro etc.
