Our client, a prestigious law firm based in Bristol, are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional indemnity Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will specialise in defending claims against a broad spectrum of professionals, including solicitors, barristers, accountants, insurance brokers, surveyors, and independent financial advisors. This role involves providing top-tier legal advice in professional negligence claims and coverage disputes, as well as representing professionals in disciplinary proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defending claims brought against professionals such as solicitors, barristers, accountants, insurance brokers, surveyors, and independent financial advisors.
- Providing expert legal advice on insurance coverage disputes.
- Assisting accountants and solicitors in defending disciplinary proceedings initiated by their professional bodies.
- Managing a diverse caseload with a focus on professional indemnity matters.
- Maintaining and building strong client relationships through exceptional client service and legal expertise.
- Collaborating with colleagues across various departments to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' PQE in professional indemnity or related legal fields.
- Strong experience in defending claims against various professionals and advising on insurance coverage disputes.
- Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage a varied and demanding caseload effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
