We are recruiting for motivated worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK's highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.

You must be SCW registered and have relevant experience within adults services.

The social worker will be responsible for ensuring all appropriate checks have been completed on our host families and for the adults and children arriving from the Ukraine; that our Ukraine guests and their hosts are supported through home visits which will include written assessments and reviews; and for providing advice and guidance on the support available for both hosts and guests.

The social worker will also ensure that any safeguarding concerns are responded to in a timely and appropriate manner. The successful candidate will be working alongside the responsible lead for the Ukraine scheme and have additional support from a Social Work Manager.

Ukrainian/Polish speakers would be welcomed however this is not essential requirement as translation support and services are available. Due to the nature of the post we are looking for people who can travel to the Wrexham area and have a full UK driving license. We look forward to reading your application.
