We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Maths Lead, who is open to learning a modern approach to teaching pupils with social, emotional, mental health needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative maths practitioner who is passionate about maths and would like to work within a progressive and innovative curriculum.

The Maths Lead will teach students in the third phase of our curriculum, Community Ready, including those on accredited pathways so must be able to deliver maths up to GCSE level as a minimum.

They will also have oversight over the maths curriculum for the whole school, they will provide subject specific plans, resources and quality assurance.

A key part of their role will be supporting colleagues to deliver maths through our project based curriculum, Enterprise Learning.

There are excellent opportunities for career development, cross group networking and to be part of our research focused work within this role.

Candidates will:

Hold an appropriate qualification to deliver maths to GCSE level as a minimumBe passionate about maths and the possibilities of teaching this through a creative, dynamic, project based curriculumHave experience of middle leadership/subject leadershipBe an team player, who is able to coach and model excellent teaching practice to others Our creative, individualised approach to learning, is centred around well-being and skills for independence.
