The Role of a Maintenance Engineer:
Maintenance Engineer duties:
This is a perfect opportunity for any engineer with an electrical bias, you'll be responsible for maintaining a variety of heavy machinery in a casting environment. Depending on your skill set, you'll be involved in fault finding on 3 phase machinery, reading engineer drawings and diagrams, implementing a well-organised PPM schedule, hydraulics, diagnosing faults using Siemens PLC systems, and working on induction furnaces, extruders, and moulding machines.

Maintaining an organized PPM schedule.Handling reactive maintenance tasks.Preparing handovers and shift reports.Ability to read, interpret electrical drawings.Ability to understand the set up and configuration of variable speed drives..Good understanding IEE wiring regulationsExperience with AC/DC drives, PLC, Scada as well as traditional control methodologiesWill have worked in a manufacturing envi
