TeacherActive are currently recruiting for qualified Level 2/Level 3 Teaching Assistants (TA's) to work in one of our Doncaster Special Schools located in DN2. The school provides education to young people in KS2 and KS3 who have SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs). We work very closely with a number of schools in this area, and have developed very good relationships with the schools which means that they come to us for the very best staff The schools provide support and education to students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities which means the right candidate needs to be passionate about delivering high quality learning support.

The right candidate (Teaching Assistant) will have:

  • Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
  • Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
  • Proven track record of working well with young people / vulnerable people
  • The confidence to be proactive and engaging in a classroom environment
  • A reliable and consistent work ethic
