Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust are looking to recruit a Consultant in General Paediatrics with a special interest in epilepsy & paediatric neurology to complement the department and join its busy Paediatric department. Applicants should hold a certificate of completion of specialist training in Paediatrics or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and experience within the field of general paediatrics. This post does not contribute to the neonatal service which is staffed separately.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated consultant team who provide general and specialist paediatric services to the population of Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. The post will be based at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth and will provide general paediatric services, with special interest in epilepsy and paediatric neurology. The job plan will be based on 10 programmed activities and will include participation in the general paediatric on-call rota.
