About The Role
This is a part time (21 hours per week), fixed term position until September 2025.
The department is recruiting a Clinical Learning Facilitator in Audiology to support the delivery of the work-based elements of both the full-time and part-time Practitioner Training Programme.
Swansea University currently offers 8 full-time degree programmes in Healthcare Science, with 3 new part-time programmes being added for 2024. Healthcare Science sits within the School of Health and Social Care.
Nearly all of the commissioned programmes from Welsh Government sit within this School. Healthcare Science is joined by Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Science in the School. This creates a culture of professional training and interdisciplinary education.
The successful candidate will join the Healthcare Science academic unit. The Clinical Learning Facilitator in Audiology will be responsible for supporting Audiology students whist they spend time on placement (full-time) or in their work-place (part-time).

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
