Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Starting from £48,000 per annum, depending upon skills and experience
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week, Mon – Fri
What you'll be doing
As a Regional Manager, you will oversee a team of gardeners and skilled maintenance craftsperson's, ensuring every site shines. You'll produce and deliver regional plans, optimising resource deployment so that we stay within budget while achieving outstanding results.
Engaging with local authorities, contractors, volunteers, and stakeholders will be part of your routine, fostering strong and productive relationships that support our mission.
The role also involves analysing and refining processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness, making a real impact on how we operate. Ensuring safe working practices across all operations is essential, keeping our team secure and our standards high.
Beyond the day-to-day operations, you'll collaborate with Regional Public Engagement Coordinators to promote the CWGC's mission through local events, media interactions, and volunteer networks.
What you need to have
- BTEC National Diploma or NVQ Level 3/4 in Horticulture, Works, Maintenance, or Facilities Management, OR equivalent experience
- Proven track record in team leadership
Extensive experience in managing projects, programming work schedules, and handling contractors and stakeholders - Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience, build relationships, and motivate teams
- Innovative thinker who anticipates and resolves potential issues with creative solutions
- Full UK driver's license ideal
