Senior Analyst, Revenue Accounting

Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst for Revenue Accounting at Hilton's UK Centre of Excellence plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting for multiple hotels. Working closely with the Manager Revenue Accounting, the Senior Analyst will drive the strategy and goals of the function by overseeing day-to-day processes.
Role Activities
- Execute tasks with a deep understanding of end-to-end processes while supporting project initiatives
- Assist in evaluating and enhancing existing processes to boost efficiency
- Document and update standard operating procedures for clarity
- Manage tasks proactively, ensuring team goals are met
- Offer guidance on best practices and provide support to the business
- Maintain excel templates, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Complete various financial tasks such as reconciliations and journal postings
- Analyze data using advanced excel models and address any discrepancies
- Build relationships with hotel teams and address any process issues
- Adhere to company policies and controls while completing tasks
- Prepare and deliver reports promptly to hotels
- Perform other duties as required to support departmental success

Required:
- Work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Have excellent coaching skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Demonstrate advanced excel skills and experience in general ledger accounting
- Be proficient in using multiple systems and provide training to team members
- Exercise sound judgment and critical thinking
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
- Have experience in a Shared Service Centre or Hospitality industry
Qualifications
Required:
- High School/GED education
- Proven accounting/finance experience
- Occasional travel may be required
Preferred:
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
- Pursuing a professional accounting qualification
- Experience in a supervisory role
