Learning Mentor

Pupil Assessment Centre - Chorlton


We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join our team at a Specialist Pupil Assessment Centre in Chorlton, Manchester.


Role:
As a Learning Mentor, you will work 1:1 with students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.

Your primary responsibility will be to help assess these students to identify educational gaps and ensure they are placed in the appropriate educational setting after their assessment.


Responsibilities:

  • Work confidently with various learning styles and abilities.
  • Support students with learning difficulties such as ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.
  • Engage and connect with young people, relating to them at their level.
  • Assist pupils who may display a lack of engagement.

Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or willingness to process a new application).
  • Two professional references.
