Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a growing organisation based in North Lanarkshire, to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team in a busy and varied role with progression opportunities for the right candidate.


The main duties:

  • Process invoices against purchase orders
  • Process any expenses/overnight allowances etc
  • Process payments through bank and Sage
  • Process any credit card payments for jobs
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Petty cash processing & reconciliation
  • Assisting with recording of engineer time for payroll purposes
  • Updating purchase orders from supplier acknowledgements
  • Assisting with sales ledger invoicing and credit control

The main requirements:

  • Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
  • Experience of Sage would be preferred
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team Player
