Accounts Assistant

**Are you an Accounts Assistant with aspirations of working for a thriving, independently owned clothing manufacturing business?**

Pettigrew Recruitment Group is delighted to be working alongside this luxury clothing specialist as they look to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support them as they grow. This is a key, fast paced role and requires someone highly organised and capable of managing the flow of invoices through the business.

Reporting to the Director, duties of the role will include:

- Processing of all invoices through the business and raising of purchase orders.
- Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts.
- Answering client and supplier queries and building a good rapport playing a key role in providing relevant accounts information when required.
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Collecting monthly direct debits and making payments.
- Preparing and entering journals into the recording system.
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.

To be shortlisted we are looking for the following skills:

- Sage accounting experience essential to hit the ground running.
- Professional approach to work.
- Drivers licence required.

**This will be a part time role with the hours still to be negotiated but it is expected that they would be around 20 - 25 hours per week spread across Monday - Friday.**
