Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to make a positive impact. The primary objective of the HLTA is to provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students.

Requirements:

  • 6 months plus experience working in a UK Primary School.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (desirable).
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and work collaboratively with school staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading small group activities and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Assessing and monitoring the progress of students and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Managing challenging behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
