PRICE Trained Teaching Assistant's needed - Sept Start

SEN School & Alternative Provision in Portsmouth

Academics are seeking experienced PRICE Trained Teaching Assistant's to join a Special School and Alternative Provision in Portsmouth which caters for young people across yr3 - KS4, who have a range of range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) developmental needs and / or medical needs

They are looking for strong yet empathetic Teaching Assistant's who are available to start in September on full-time, on-going contracts. There is the opportunity there for a permanent contract if this is of interest to you.

Due to the nature of the setting, they are looking for Teaching Assistant's who are PRICE trained or equivalent such as Team Teach. As you are working with young people with challenging behaviours, having completed such training, or having a willingness to carry out the training is essential.

You will be required to support pupils on a 1;1 and small group basis. This Teaching Assistant role would be suited to someone with experience of working with children with challenging behaviours in an SEN/SEMH school.
