We are looking for a Production Assistant to support in the development, planning and execution of a large portfolio of events including lunches and receptions, networking drinks, and other bespoke events for the duration of the festival.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

Key responsibilities

Assist the Production Coordinators with all dinner, reception, party, or other event logistics as necessary. Assist with various production tasks across the film programme, events, industry events, venues, and guest services. Assist with warehouse stock, supporting the transport and delivery to and from festival venues.Maintain efficient administrative systems for the Production Department.Coordinate bar tabs across the festival screening venues, be the main point of contact for venue managers and staff, and produce all necessary documents. Knowledge, skills and experienceDemonstrable work experience gained within a cultural organisation either in a paid or voluntary capacity.Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines.Ability to build effective relationships with key contacts across BFI and stakeholder organisations, and to communicate effectively and tactfully with stakeholders at all levels.Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ability to present and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
