Commercial Counsel

A leading technology company, with a number of sites across the UK, is looking to recruit a Commercial Counsel to join their in-house team.

The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office ( in either Wiltshire, London or Hampshire) and 2 days remote.

The role will involve working closely with the Commercial Director and will focus on assisting with client negotiations, leading contract negotiations, supporting bids and reviewing all policies, processes, and procedures. In addition, you will assist with corporate matters and provide legal support to the Company Secretary, particularly the preparation of formal board minutes.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you are qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE and previous in-house experience. A solid background in managing a range of commercial matters, including complex commercial contracts is also key. Experience of working in the IT / technology sector is also preferred.
