LEGAL COUNSEL

PQE REQUIRED:
NQ – 3 years

WILTSHIRE (hybrid)

SALARY:
£50K - £70

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the successful NQ – 3 year PQE lawyer will help oversee legal advice and support to the UK and global operations.

Working closely with the Head of Legal to build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of legal documents and commercial contracts
  • Assisting with acquisitions and disposals.
  • Working on the provision of legal compliance training for the wider business.
  • Providing support to ensure the Group's data is protected.
  • Assisting with the management of the trademark and patent portfolio.
  • Monitoring controls ensuring the company is compliant with sanctions and export regimes in countries where the Group operates.
  • Supporting with general legal queries.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Qualified Solicitor NQ – 3 years PQE
  • Sound commercial judgement with excellent business partnering capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex legal information to legal and non-legal senior stakeholders.
