This is an exciting opportunity to join an interdisciplinary team delivering the BSc Criminology and Forensic Investigation. This innovative programme is taught across the School of Justice and The Institute of Science and Environment. The post holder will join a successful, experienced and ambitious teaching team with a reputation for innovation in course design and delivery.
The post holder will be required to contribute to the academic team through delivery of modules on the BSc Criminology and Forensic Investigation programme and contribute across wider portfolio and year groups. They will also be expected to actively engage with professional and pedagogical research and scholarship to support teaching activities and extend, transform and apply knowledge acquired from scholarship to teaching and research.
The successful candidate will have experience in professional practice within forensic science and/or relevant industries. They will also be able to demonstrate relevant lecturing/teaching/training experience in this area. Candidates with experience in crime scene investigation would be particularly welcome.
The post holder will join in the delivery of our existing programmes and contribute to the design and delivery of future planned developments, making the most of the opportunities offered by our location at the University's Carlisle campus.
