THE ROLE

The Sales Analyst position is for a passionate individual to provide administrative support to the Retail Hair Sales Team. Proven experience working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software is required. Attention to detail, organisational and communication skills are key to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate will be positive, able to work independently and influence internal stakeholders effectively when necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysis of weekly retail sales data for each account and other ad hoc data analysis as required.
  • Using the retailer online sales and stock systems to ensure consistency with internal data and monitor overstocks/possible returns.
  • Coordinating the implementation of account promotional plans and calendars, remaining aware of promotional activity and ensuring all relevant administration and support is complete.
  • Coordinate, submit and evaluate account specific promotions and proposals.
  • Liaising with the Marketing team to understand and implement the Retail Hair promotional program in line with media for all accounts.
  • Carrying out monthly store and pricing checks in all accounts.
  • Supporting Account Managers with range reviews / trackers and retailer planograms (including introductions and discontinuations)
  • Creation and submission of new line forms as required
  • Coordinating samples for sending out to each account at key launch times.
  • Maintenance of sales databases for product codes and barcodes.
  • Coding and checking merchandising invoices for all accounts.
  • Ad hoc admin support requirements as dictated by retailers and NAMs;

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Able to demonstrate a keen passion to work in a Sales environment
  • Technical skills, strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Sound knowledge of Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Showcase great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organised in action, able to manage priorities.

  • A good understanding of the sector and retailers concerned.
  • Creator Mindset; Able to demonstrate a pro-active attitude and flexible approach.
  • Team Player Attitude: Strong team player with ability to effectively listen, contribute and influence;
  • Self-starter: Ability to work with autonomy and use initiative on areas of specific responsibility;
