Relief SIA Security Officer

The Role – Relief Security Officer SIA Licence NIGHTS

AM Services Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to provide professional security services to our client, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and their assets at the University of Hull.

The successful candidate will be working straight 12hour night shifts on a relief basis

Duties/Key Responsibilities

You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team and can work under your own initiative.

Work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that AM Support Services offers an exceptional customer service at the highest standards

Complete daily security tasks, including use of client software and security CCTV systems in the control room

Carry out routine patrols on site

Key Holding - Locking and unlocking premises

Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty

Liaison with local authorities including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency

Operating telephone switchboard

Carry out any reasonable task requested by the client or Manager, if you are trained to do so.

Skills Required

Valid Security Guard / Door Supervisor SIA Licence

CCTV experience

1ST Aid at Work Cert preferred but not essential

Provide a Full 5-year UK checkable work history

Be able to access, control and manage large crowds of people efficiently and quickly.

You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
