Welcome to join a dynamic Global hedge fund based in London They are currently seeking a talented candidate to fill the position of Senior Risk Manager for their Fixed Income business. This role involves overseeing investment and hedge fund trading strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the risk function including validating margin methodologies, setting limits, producing reports, and analyzing fund performance.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management team, quant researchers, and senior risk managers to provide insights for portfolio construction and asset allocation.
  • Offer insights on risk movements to senior management and portfolio managers.
  • Work closely with portfolio managers to understand risk views and strategies for effective risk management.
  • Develop and maintain risk management framework, policy, and risk metrics that accurately reflect strategy risks.
  • Take charge of managing the fixed income portfolio on a daily basis.
  • Provide oversight on the production of risk reports and analytics covering exposures and PnL drivers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 4-10 years of experience in Market Risk or Investment Risk focusing on hedge fund strategies.
  • Expertise in Fixed Income and Rates.
  • Experience in risk management for Fixed Income and/or Macro strategies with a focus on risk oversight and interactions.
  • Understanding of assets and strategies in Fixed Income and Macro, particularly managing Interest Rate Volatility product risks.
  • Experience developing risk measurement tools and analytics for daily risk management.
  • Advantageous to have Python experience.
  • Portfolio construction knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various team members.
