Marston Green Infant Academy is seeking to recruit an experienced, knowledgeable and ambitious SENDCO to join our friendly staff and help support the Senior Leadership in strategically developing and promoting our vision for inclusion across the Academy.

The Academy is a three form entry school with a Nursery and Pre-School setting on site. We pride ourselves on our relationship with our community and our commitment to providing an inclusive curriculum and environment to support a range of diverse needs.

Key Requirements


• Highly skilled and inspiring teacher across EYFS/KS1.


• Holds a current NASENCo qualification or is willing to complete the SEND National Professional Qualification (NPQ)


• Excellent knowledge of SEND to ensure that the Academy is fully compliant


• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a dedicated team player who can foster a culture of high expectation for all


• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and is effective at problem solving


• Good leadership and organisational skills to develop an effective inclusion team


• Committed to working in partnership with parents, governors and other external agencies


• Experience of data analysis in order to improve outcomes for pupils with SEND


• Experience of leading SEND, including identification of pupils needs and teaching of interventions


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
