We are seeking our new European GraduateStarting in October 2024, our Graduate Program provides an immersive experience from day 1.
Your personal and professional development will be supported by networking sessions with graduates from other European countries and various trainings, including a six-month development program 'Making of Champion' focusing on your leadership skills and attitudes that will enable you to realise more of your potential, achieve meaningful work and personal goals, and develop success habits.
All this will be leveraged during half-yearly reflection presentations with senior business leaders. The Graduate Program consists of two assignments:
- The first 18-month assignment consists of two rotations in the Sony UK & Ireland Sales and Marketing teams. The first is Channel Marketing, reinforcing Sony's online presence, handling promotional activities, or leading media campaigns. The second is the Trade Marketing team promoting products to retailers, distributors, and wholesalers to increase product availability and sales through the supply chain.
- Afterwards, you will join one of the Pan-European teams for a second 12-month assignment. In this role, you will have a chance to gain a broader and more strategic view of Sony Europe, its products and various European markets. For example, you will support for strategic product launches and business and marketing planning across the whole of Europe.
As part of the 2.5-year program, you will be exposed to a broad range of other business functions including finance, procurement, public relations and logistics. You will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge but also immerse yourself in what it means to be a marketing professional in a multinational organisation and to understand where your career could take you.
At the end of your second assignment, in April 2027, you will be ready to take on a new responsibility and to further develop your career in Sony Europe in a permanent role
You will have- Degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing or similar
- Marketing / Commercial experience gained during placement, internships or extra-curricular activities
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
- English language (written and spoken), fluency in other European language(s) is a plus
- Affinity for technology and desire to grow and develop
The job posting will be open until 5th August. Afterwards, the selected candidates will be asked to complete an automated video interview. Your new officeBased at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available including vegan, and a barista style coffee.
