What can you expect?

  • The cyber & technology practice consists of over 50 people and is one of the fastest growing practices within Marsh, and the largest provider of cyber & technology solutions in the London market today
  • Drive innovation by evolving existing products, and creating new products; working as part of a team whose remit is to deliver the best and broadest products available in the marketplace today for all our customers keeping Marsh at the forefront of customer service & innovation
  • Work closely with customer facing colleagues to understand needs of customers, and support & drive negotiation of wording changes, including with customers, their legal representatives and insurers
  • Work closely with other specialist colleagues across all geographies ensuring that our approach to product development is consistently represented & executed at a national level
  • Ensure a joined up approach with our in house claims specialists to ensure products continue to evolve and be refined with a constant feedback loop

We will count on you to:

  • Drive product development & innovation
  • Support the client and market facing professionals in the practice on individual medium to large sized accounts ranging in complexity
  • Use your risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to translate client's exposures and loss scenarios into effective insurance coverage
  • Assist market and client facing cyber colleagues in negotiating and evaluating quotes from carriers and presenting the evaluations to clients
  • Develop and run regular training on topical coverage issues for the wider cyber team

What you need to have:

  • 3 or more years experience working in the insurance legal or Insurance industry preferably with emphasis on cyber/technology-related Insurance coverages
  • Professional and adaptable attitude and ability to work closely with diverse stakeholders

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience at a law firm as a as coverage counsel or privacy lawyer or
  • Experience at a law firm, insurer or broker as an Insurance wordings specialist
  • Insurance coverage development experience at a broker/Insurer or law firm concerning other liability classes or crisis led solutions
  • Technology and / or data regulation litigation
  • Insurance policy dispute / complex coverage resolution
