How does this role contribute to our collective success?


The role is critical in ensuring AXIS delivers on its promises in paying valid claims and providing exceptional claims service.

What will you do in this role?

  • To handle cyber claims for a broad range of clients worldwide, written in the Global Cyber & Technology Unit and reporting to the Head of Cyber Claims, International.
  • Work closely with clients, TPA service providers, external legal advisors and specialist vendors, market leaders and brokers ensuring a premier claims service to clients is maintained.
  • To handle Lloyd's Syndicate as well as company claims.
  • Liaise with respective underwriters on wording/policy issues and expert panels, provide claims information and attend client meetings as appropriate.
  • Provide claims intelligence to the Training & Advisory and Incident Response team and assist in various related projects as necessary.


You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.


About You:

What you need to have:

  • Experience working for a syndicate or company or perhaps a broker as a claims advocate/negotiator and gained sufficient practical experience in the market place to independently perform the above duties and responsibilities.
  • Specific and relevant cyber experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to liaise with numerous customers and service providers, both internal and external stakeholders.


 Knowledge of CLASS/ECF
  • Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Legal and/or professional qualification, but this is not essential.

Travel internationally occasionally

Be in the office 3 days per week, or as required
