Key Responsibilities:

  • IT support for technical issues involving core business applications, as well as virtual environments.
  • Act as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support staff, offering guidance and expertise to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Advanced in Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc. for root cause analyst support.
  • Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and network security.
  • Technical services and support of VoIP telephony solutions.
  • Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN and Remote Desktop Services.
  • Systems monitoring.
  • Manage and improve existing hardware and software solutions in line with business needs / latest tech. (e.g. Dev Workstations, RMM Tools etc.)
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems across the business.
  • Support a wide variety of customer-specific line-of-business applications.
  • Support the IT Manager with Disaster recovery plan changes.
  • Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Work closely with the IT Manager on maintaining systems, software user audits, and procurement.
Requirements

Essential capabilities
  • 3-5 years of experience in senior IT support, including experience in a Level 1 and Level 2 support role.
  • Good knowledge of IT technologies and security.
  • Customer-focused for our growing internal user base.
  • Active Directory, Event Viewer, Client VPN setups, Office 365 admin centre.
  • Understanding of IPv4 and DHCP configuration, DNS and VPN.
Qualifications:
  • A+ Certified.
  • Network+ Certified.
  • Security+ Certified.
  • MCSA: Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / or later.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
Desired experience and qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree, certificate or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a related field.
  • Previous experience working in the game development industry or related field.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified.
  • Windows Server Hyper-V and Virtualization.
