Job Description

  • Assisting more experienced team members with a portfolio of international clients on various financial functions provided by the Firm including:
    • Payroll
    • Accounts payable processing and payment
    • Client funds management
    • Employee expenses reimbursement
    • Management accounts
    • VAT and other indirect taxes
    • International HR
  • Tasks involve posting accounts payable invoices and expense claims, processing payments from client bank accounts, verifying payroll and other services by the Firm's overseas offices, among others.
  • Additional responsibilities may include setting up bookkeeping in accounting systems, assisting with monthly management accounts, dealing with compliance queries, attending client calls, collaborating with third parties, responding to client inquiries, and more.
  • Ensuring all work is completed within set deadlines.

Required Attributes

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience; experience in management accounting is beneficial
  • Currently pursuing or interested in pursuing an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
  • International experience is advantageous
  • Organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, quick in building trust and relationships
  • Ability to share knowledge, conduct research, aware of risks, and deliver high-quality work consistently
  • Proficient in IT - Microsoft Excel, Word, accounting systems like SAGE, NetSuite, etc.
  • Interest in understanding the broader scope of Global Business Solutions and the firm's offerings to clients
  • Attention to detail
