We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Mental Health Nurse to work as part of the Multi-disciplinary Team on Bryngolau Ward, Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.

The role will be to assess, plan and deliver excellent care for individuals with Mental Health needs on a 15 bedded Older Adult Acute Admission Ward.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision and to teach other nursing and non nursing staff.

The post holder undertakes duties specific to a defined client group on the ward.

The post holder will take charge in the absence of the Ward Manager who has overall continuing responsibility.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
