Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Associate Creative Director to join our team at Catalog Games. As a key player in the product team, you will be responsible for defining the creative direction for our tier 1 titles and leading an exceptional art and UX team towards the successful execution of this strategy. You will work closely with the Product Director and peers in design to ensure our games are innovative, engaging, and visually stunning.

Your Role within Our Kingdom:

  • Define Creative Vision: Develop and articulate the creative direction for our biggest titles, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and goals of Catalog Games.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of artists and UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Strategy Execution: Oversee the implementation of the creative strategy, ensuring high-quality execution across all visual and user experience aspects of the games.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Director and design peers to integrate creative concepts with game design and development.
  • Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team, exploring new creative trends and technologies to keep our games at the forefront of the industry.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting creative ideas and progress updates, and incorporating feedback into the creative process.

  • Leadership and Mentoring: Proven experience in leading and mentoring creative teams, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Creative Vision: Strong sense of visual aesthetics and a deep understanding of UX principles, with the ability to translate creative concepts into compelling game experiences.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product and design teams to achieve a unified vision.
  • Innovation: Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends, with a track record of implementing cutting-edge creative solutions.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a creative leadership role within the gaming industry, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects and creative achievements.
