If you are a HR Advisor or a HR Coordinator looking to step up into a HR Advisor role, seeking 30 hours per week across a 4 day week, with hybrid work (2 days working from home & 2 days from the office, plus 2 duvet days a year) with a passion for supporting others to thrive, then this is the ideal HR opening for you

You will ideally be a 360 degree HR Generalist with a CIPD L3 qualification, or be time served in a comparable HR / ER function, with broad exposure to a number of key HR / ER functions including some of the following; HRBP support to Management / SMT, ER support, Employee Engagement (Emotional Intelligence), EDI, Well-being, HR Administration, HR policies & procedures, Disciplinaries & Grievances, Redundancies & TUPE, L&D, support Change & CI, Employee Attraction, Recruitment & On boarding, Payroll, T&A, plus used to updating Employee Data & HR Systems (the client is seeking a number of these but not necessarily all).

You will be able to work with minimum supervision addressing standard HR advisory matters, building effective working relationships with key stakeholders (SMT), in particular those on the front-line (supervisors / managers etc), plus lead & support the development / implementation of the new HR self-serve database system (promoting the optimisation of technology to automate processes where possible, including payroll).

Duties:

  • Support to Frontline Managers & Employees, by delivering a people focused HRBP service offering to all, displaying professionalism & empathy at all times. Empower & positively influence managers
  • Mentor & Coach managers on HR policies / procedures
  • Guide & Support frontline managers in the setting of team objectives, their continuous support, and development, along with successfully managing employees probationary periods.
  • Actively support learning & development activities for all.
  • ER & Employee Engagement, creating & embedding a truly reflective culture that is led by its value-based principles.
  • Ensuring all HR processes are implemented in line with legislation.
  • Assist in the review of contracts, company policies, & all procedures.
  • Support all Disciplinary Processes & Grievances.
  • Support complex change processes (redundancy, restructure, TUPE).
  • Promote & Lead Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) focus groups & behaviours, contributing to creating SMART action plans.
  • Develop, update & maintain the self -service HR database system.
  • Collate accurate payroll information for submitting, for payroll runs.
  • Play a key role in employees L&D programmes.
  • Carry out On-boarding & Recruitment activities.
  • Promote at all times the Equality, Diversity, & Full Inclusion policies, as well as maintaining high standards in relation to the Disability Confident Employer scheme, plus promote a health & safety focused culture.

Attributes:

  • A passionate people focused HR professional (Coordinator, Advisor, HRBP or other) with strong emotional intelligence, strong in EDI.
  • Ideally experienced within the 3rd sector (Charity, NFP etc).
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or time served in a comparable HR function.
  • A HR / ER Generalist who has broad experience.
  • Strong HR systems & software skills, plus Word & Excel.
  • Passionate about giving back to others less fortunate & promoting equality / well-being for all within a fully inclusive community.
