Classroom Assistant - SEMH School, Solihull
Are you an experienced Classroom Assistant or Behaviour Mentor seeking an exciting challenge in an exceptional SEMH school? Join this outstanding team as a Classroom Assistant / Behaviour Mentor, where you will work closely with Key Stage 3 & 4 students facing SEMH needs and presenting challenging behaviours. This role is an opportunity to inspire and motivate young individuals who have encountered barriers to their education.

As a Classroom Assistant at this school, you will play a vital role in supporting and collaborating with the class teacher and a team of experienced Teaching Assistants. As a team you will aim to manage classroom behaviours effectively and provide essential academic support for students. Your dedication and positive influence will help guide these students towards success.

In this rewarding position, you will serve as a beacon of positivity and a role model for young individuals who have struggled to engage with their education. Job Role:
  • Provide dedicated support to students with challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis.
  • Collaborate as a Behaviour Mentor/Classroom Assistant
  • Serve as a positive role model, inspiring students on their educational journey.
  • Deliver personalized intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours.
  • Assist students in rediscovering their enthusiasm for learning.
