The RCM wishes to appoint an experienced Programmes Operations & Quality Assurance Manager in a hands-on and varied role managing the college's taught programmes administration at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

In this student experience-focussed role, the postholder will oversee the Programmes team's work across the student life cycle, from registration to graduation, including assessment and quality processes in addition to project work.


Based in the RCM's small and friendly Registry, this interesting role provides an opportunity to develop experience across the range of student administration, ideal for someone wishing to develop a management career in the HE sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an inspirational environment, supporting talented young musicians from around the world.

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Significant professional experience of Higher Education programmes administration
  • Experience of working with complex procedures and regulations
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently and deal with operational issues independently
  • Experience in providing a high standard of service, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Practical knowledge of music, preferably of a classical nature
This post is offered on a permanent, full-time (1.0FTE) or part-time (0.8FTE) basis and is immediately available. If a part-time appointment is made, the postholder will receive a proportion of the full-time salary.
