Early Years Room Leader (Part-Time, Baby Room)

Location: Headingley, Leeds

Work Schedule: Part-Time (Thursday and Friday, Full Days)

Salary: per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Room Leader to join our team in the Baby Room. This part-time role requires working full days on Thursday and Friday. If you have a nurturing nature, strong leadership skills, and a desire to contribute to a high-quality early years environment, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Baby Room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support the developmental needs of babies.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education.
  • Uphold and promote the company's policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with babies in an early years setting.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education.
