Alexandra is a vibrant two-form entry Primary School with a Nursery situated in Wood Green, North London. We are proud to be culturally diverse and have a strong inclusive ethos, we will soon be home to Haringey's Resourced Provision for Primary pupils with SEMHD. We are seeking a passionate and creative SEND lead committed to ensuring our children with additional needs flourish and achieve.

We are looking for:

A role model of positivity and champion for vulnerable learners who can inspire others. Someone committed to building strong relationships with children, teachers, families and external agencies, further enhancing the reputation of the school. A practitioner who is highly organised and driven with a proven track record of effective SEND provision and successful EHC needs assessment requests. A deep commitment to improving the life chances and educational outcomes of children at risk of exclusion. Experience of trauma informed practice (or similar) and working successfully with pupils with SEMHD.The ability to lead and manage a team of support staff to ensure provision matches need.The skills to ensure inclusive practice continuously improves through training, coaching and feedbackA passion for personal growth and professional learningA resilient individual who is calm under pressure.
