They are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Director to join our dynamic team and help propel our business to new heights.
Within this role you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the sales and marketing strategies. Working closely with the Founder and Managing Directors, you will lead a talented revenue engine team, drive revenue growth, and strengthen the market position. This role requires a strategic and over all else a hands-on leader with a proven track record in sales and marketing, capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the Founder and MD's aspirations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the client development, business development and marketing team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
- Oversee the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, and traditional advertising.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and differentiation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, housing associations and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximising the return on investment.
- Collaborate closely with the owner, board members and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Ideally a bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing role, with a strong track record of achieving targets and driving growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to navigate this within an owner led business.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, with a solid understanding of current marketing trends and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, owner-led environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactical plans effectively and adapt to changing market conditions.
