We currently have a permanent opportunity to lead our team at the Client Dyce Warehouse. Reporting to th Aberdeen Warehouse Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective execution of all client operations, providing effective leadership to the Warehouse Operations Team.

The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate the energy, commitment and motivation to lead the warehouse team and carry out all aspects of this hands-on role, along with the communication /leadership skills to fully integrate with our team. Role responsibilities will include:

Manage the delivery of Client operations and the delivery of the Warehouse planAct as a client focal point for users both onshore and offshore, responding quickly and accurately toissues/queries raisedEnsure positive communication between internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate work orders for shipping with the sailing schedule, ensuring timely processingUtilisation of the Maximo system and completion of hard copy and computerised documentsMaintaining an accurate, auditable record of activitiesHigh standards of housekeeping being maintained at all times within Warehouse and Yard areasEnsure positive relations between operational locationsEffective management of costs and invoicingMaintain and report warehouse KPIsPromote continuous improvementAd-hoc duties as required in line with applicable training/competency assessments undertakenMinimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours):Maintains positive work relationshipsIn depth understanding of Maximo ERP system warehouse transactions and processesMaintains positive work relationshipsEffective Time ManagementOil Spill AwarenessCOSHH AwarenessDangerous Goods by Sea (IMDG) and Dangerous Goods by Air (IATA)Manual HandlingIncident CommanderPermit to WorkUnconscious Bias TrainingDiversity and Inclusion TrainingComputer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suiteAccustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changingworkloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressureStrong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work stand-alone while a positive contributor to the wider teamMotivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a cultureof continuous improvement and innovationSolutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detailPrevious warehousing and materials management experienceMinimum Qualifications:IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)Management/Logistics Qualification (or equivalent experience)0-5T Counterbalance Fork Lift truck5-15T Counterbalance Fork Lift TruckVery Narrow Aisle Forklift Truck (VNA)Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I):
