Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Post general journals and upload financial data to the accounting system.
  • Generate reports on customer sales, debtors, creditors, and bank/cash activities.
  • Assist with quarterly VAT returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Support year-end audit evidence gathering and compile the initial audit pack.
  • Process weekly payroll and provide cover for monthly payroll processing as required, addressing and resolve payroll and pension-related queries.
  • Monitor subsidiary cash flow and coordinate month-end payment runs.
  • Provide support for the purchase and sales ledger function.

  • Previous experience in an accounting role.
  • Relevant accounting qualification.
  • Brilliant time management skills.
