Base Location: Penner Road

Salary: £31,339, plus shift allowance + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing

Working Pattern: 4 week night working rotation, including weekends

About the Department

SSE Enterprise Utilities is the Distributed Energy (DE) and Private Networks business of SSE plc. We finance, own, operate and maintain energy infrastructure for commercial, industrial and residential customers - providing them with a market leading project development service and certainty of operational performance and asset management.

What is the Role?

Dispatcher managing emergency job call outs and engineer feedback. Lone working.

You will spend your working week split between taking inbound emergency calls and completing clerical back office work.

You will ensure the concerns of every customer, ranging from routine faults to complex emergency faults and scenarios are handled professionally.

These faults will be managed live until resolution so you must be able to think on your feet and deliver excellence in everything you do.

What do I need?

We need people who are genuine and caring with great listening skills and the empathy to go the extra mile for customers on each and every call.

You should be resilient with the ability to stay calm even when working under pressure and enjoy finding solutions to problems whilst adhering to operational processes and industry regulations.

As you will be dealing with written correspondence it is essential that you have Microsoft office applications experience, can work quickly and accurately with a great eye to detail.
