What is the Opportunity?

In the role of Senior Manager, Banking you will lead a centralised team of experts in Payment and Banking products, who are responsible for the review, triage and releasing of transactions initiated in our core payment platforms and our banking product offering which includes Fixed Deposits, instant access accounts, Foreign Exchange, Debit cards and our 3rd Party Fiduciary Accounts. Whilst ensuring our wealth management clients are serviced to the highest of standards and in line with internal policies, enterprise and regulatory requirements.
What will you do?
- Support ongoing development of Payment Optimisation processes to ensure consistent delivery channels and a paper free environment, developing internal best practice for Banking payment and service activities
- Provide training, advice and counsel to internal business areas that are users of payments and associated transactions and assist them in developing their business processes and align with business strategies
- Assist with future development of technology to ensure ongoing efficiency and improvement in working practices
- Develop the CoE payments team taking into account regulatory requirements, both local and enterprise with focus on regular reporting and fraud prevention
- Provide support and guidance to the team in order to manage key banking services such as the Fiduciary deposit service, the Visa Debit card service provider activity and related Third Party Vendor process.
- Manage the service activities that support our key RBC internal clients
- Lead the project management of key projects and initiatives including testing

- Excellent Organisational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills to support effective communication with our internal business partners both verbally and in writing
- Understanding and experience in the Wealth Management industry with focus on Banking payments and processing
- Self- motivated with ability to work on own initiative
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge and understanding of RIBS, Online Services, Content Manager and Salesforce
- Awareness of internal business lines and their requirements in the payments/transaction/Visa Debit card processing areas
- Knowledge /experience with Client Due Diligence and Know your client and supporting documentation
- An ability to participate in key projects and initiatives with measured outcomes
